By Waterbridge - May 12, 2017

Toronto is a bustling city with many sites to see and delicious treats to try. Each corner of the city has something special to experience and a rich history to enjoy. This is why we have put together a guide to help you find the best Waterbridge chocolate within Toronto, all while exploring the most popular sites. Come along; join us on this delicious adventure!

First Chocolate Stop: Etobicoke

We begin our best chocolate adventure in the West end of Toronto. Etobicoke is best known for its beautiful views of Lake Ontario which can be seen while strolling along the Lakeshore. From almost any vantage point along the water, you have a great view of the downtown city skyline - perfect for photo opportunities! Within driving distance of the Lakeshore, Etobicoke is home to the recently renovated Sherway Gardens shopping mall that attracts residents from all over the city. This mall is across the street from Home Outfitters. Here you can find everything you need for your house, including treats such as our delicious creamy Belgian milk chocolate bars (45 g). Treating yourself to a new duvet set and a chocolate bar? Now that’s the ideal one-stop-shop.

Second Stop: Spadina Avenue and Bloor Street

Our next stop is in the northern area of Toronto’s downtown core. At Spadina Avenue and Bloor Street, you are in the middle of the University of Toronto’s downtown campus, a world-renowned school. You’re also steps away from some of Toronto’s most popular attractions, including the Bata Shoe Museum and the Royal Ontario Museum. After an exciting day in the city, take a moment to unwind by visiting Pharmasave near Spadina Avenue and Bloor Street where you can pick up Waterbridge’s Belgian Caramel and Sea Salt Bar (300 g)!

Third Stop: Scarborough

Be prepared to drive a little further to the East end of Toronto for our next stop on this best chocolate guide. Scarborough is situated along the water and boasts beautiful boardwalks and sandy beaches open to the public. During the summer, a major attraction is the Scarborough Bluffs. The Bluffs provide you with walking paths, clear blue waters and steep cliffs with amazing views over the lake. After spending time in the sun exploring, grab a treat at the local Giant Tiger. Many Waterbridge products are found at this retailer, including our Belgian Extra Dark Bar (300 g).

Final Stop: North York

The last stop in our guide takes us to North York, this area is known for attracting city residents and tourists to Downsview Park. This park has a variety of events, activities and sports leagues, and is well known for its annual Canada Day Festival. It’s easy to stock up on treats before heading to the cottage or when preparing for a day of celebration with Wal-Mart, a mere five minutes away. Waterbridge carries numerous sweets here such as our decadent Belgian Milk Hazelnut Bar (400 g). We suggest you grab some sunscreen while you’re at it too!
